Ferromimetics

Dykeno Defender combines real-world operational experience with advanced physical chemistry.

A technology that penetrates deep into the structure of the metal surface and creates a protective sliding film – which becomes an integral part of the metal itself.

Dykeno Spirála

A name derived from the essence of what the technology does.

The name of the technology is a combination of the words ferro (from the Latin ferrum – iron, metal) and mimetic (from the Greek mímēsis – imitating). It penetrates deep into the structure of the metal surface and creates a protective sliding film, which becomes an integral part of the metal itself.

Components treated in this way exhibit lower friction and are protected long-term without their other properties being affected.

Ferro from the Latin ferrum – iron, metal.
Mimesis from the Greek mímēsis – imitating.
= Ferromimetics a technology that "imitates" metal and becomes a part of it.

Reduces friction by up to 90%

"Under a microscope, even smooth metal looks like a mountain range."

Ferromimetic particles fill microcracks on the metal surface and form a sliding film that increases the effectiveness of the lubricant. Thanks to this, machines run smoothly, quietly, and steadily.

Dykeno Defender is designed to bind most effectively to metals with a high carbon content, such as the high-quality steel used in engines and other machine mechanisms. Active ferromimetic particles have a higher affinity for the metal surface than for the carrier. They are thus chemically attracted deep into the metal surface, creating a stable molecular bond.

The particles firmly attach here and purposefully layer themselves to a thickness of approximately 7 microns. As a result, microscopic irregularities are filled, and the surface remains smoothed and protected by a molecular shield.

Extends lifespan by up to 250%

Wear causes about three-quarters of all mechanical failures. Dykeno Defender prevents corrosion, seizing, and overheating. This means less material fatigue, high mechanism durability, and easier maintenance.

It fights against wear through both protection and the regeneration of mechanisms. In new equipment, Dykeno Defender is applied preventively, so the protective layer works from the beginning of operation. It stabilizes friction points and protects metal surfaces in boundary lubrication regimes. This leads to a reduction in both friction and operating temperature. In older machines, it not only restores surface condition but also helps with other consequences of wear, such as dangerous metal shavings. Dykeno Defender binds to their surface as well. Because of this, these particles become less aggressive and cause a significantly lower rate of secondary damage.

Protects against corrosion and carbon

Rust is essentially a slow fire that devours machine components. The ferromimetic fluid spreads across the entire metal surface of the mechanism. It coats it with a protective film that displaces moisture and prevents oxidation and dirt buildup in the long term.

The protective film comprehensively envelopes the metal surface and naturally displaces moisture. At the same time, it prevents oxygen radicals from reaching the surface, effectively preventing corrosion. Carbon impurities are also significantly less likely to settle on a surface protected in this way. In addition to this preventive action, ferromimetic technology can also break down existing carbon deposits. However, their removal occurs very gradually and in a controlled manner, minimizing the risk of releasing larger particles. The carbon dissolves and is removed from the mechanism during a routine oil change without clogging filters, channels, or damaging the equipment.

Saves costs and energy

20% of all energy generated by humanity is lost to mechanical friction. Dykeno Defender regenerates mechanisms and increases their performance. It thus reduces energy or fuel consumption and the costs of unnecessary repairs.

Reducing friction leads to an increase in mechanism efficiency. The regeneration of metal components often brings a dramatic drop in fuel consumption, especially in older machines. Maintenance is also simpler and cheaper, and a significant saving comes from reducing the costs of repairs and component replacements.

Easy to apply

Inside Dykeno Defender, you will find a ferromimetic fluid that can be safely mixed with all types of lubricants and also works in dry operations. Simply apply it directly to the metal surface or mix it into the oil bath. The fluid automatically spreads into all components of the mechanism.

This ferromimetic fluid is based on synthetic hydrocarbon derivative technology and is fully compatible with synthetic and mineral oils, gear oils, hydraulic fluids, and solid lubricants. For open and easily accessible metal surfaces, Dykeno Defender can be applied directly and functions as a dry lubricant. In closed systems, such as engines or gearboxes, the ferromimetic fluid is transported to the metal areas via the lubricant.

It is gentle on all mechanisms because it binds only to metals. It does not bind to rubber, plastics, elastomers, wood, or other non-metallic materials. In practice, this means it cannot damage seals, plastic parts, or equipment insulation elements. It also contains no solid particles (Teflon, ceramics, silicone) that could burden the mechanism over the long term, clog filters, or foul fine tolerances.
